Figure it out

I suck with money.  We are members in good standing in the Have Not's Club, have been for all of our married lives.  Keeping a roof over our heads has been a huge difficulty with us.  Taking pets to a vet??  OMG...  I can't hardly stand myself for this.  So I am trying to find the charming part of a charmed life, which I have come to the conclusion that I do not have a charmed life in the way that most folks have.
Now, the vision in my head that came after this epiphany was cruel and heartbreaking.  A mother who is in constant fear for her life because of her children that she loves so much.  What if that was me in a previous life?  This lady was rich, she had all material needs she could want, but her children...  It made my heart ache.  Now I say, what if that lady was me?  I can see myself saying to someone, I would give all my riches for the love of my children.
In this life, I have that.  My children are any parents dream and that is no lie.  Will I wish for riches after this life?  No, I think not.  The love of my family is what keeps my heart happy even during the roughest of times.  Next life, bring on the love of my husband and children!!

The "Darker" Side

For me, the craft is the craft, neither light or dark, one no more than the other, it just is.  Dark doesn't necessarily mean sinister or evil, it means the unpleasant side of things, even groce maybe.  This is not to say there aren't evil witches :O out there, just as there are evil people.  Let's not be so naive as to say there is no evil.
For instance, human anatomy.  There would be no human anatomy without the disection of human bodies, which included working with corpses.  Did that make it sinister? It was merely a way of conquering the mystery that was the human body and how it worked.
There has been more and more topics about the "dark" side of the craft.  It's a coming of age, so to speak.  When Wicca came to America they wanted to change the image of the witch to a more positive one. In doing so, parts of the craft were made forbidden and considered dark.  One of those things is a witches curiosity for death, which leads us to collect bones, skulls, skins and such.  Does this mean we are going to use them for curses?  More than likely not.  Some are drawn to these things because of the curiosity spoken of earlier.
Mainstream folks are more tolerant of witches in general now and some witches have begun to seek to learn more about certain mysteries that make folks uncomfortable.  I hope that mainstream folks learn an acceptance of us because of minds and spirits like ours some of lifes questions have been answered.

Dream 3.4.2012

 Trunk
To see a trunk in your dream represents old memories, ideals, hopes, and old emotions. It indicates issues and feelings that you have not dealt with.

I had a dream that we were cleaning Josh's room and he had this trunk, I asked him where he got it and he said he bought it at Wal Mart.  So off to Wal Mart we go, Wal Mart looked so very real in my dream...  We found the trunk, it was a lot pricey so I decided I couldn't get one right now.  They wanted $60 for it, but...it was also the size of a chest freezer!
