Snowing

This last picture is of the moon.  What a night this was!  We live on a hill, not a steep one, but long and steady climb.  It took all of 2 hours or so for the snow to fall.  Maybe 3.  The show before the plow got here, was scary, tense, and at times filled with anxiety and cringing.  Folks were having a terrible time getting up this hill.  Most were lucky and only slid back to the bottom. Only one person ended up in the ditch.  The police made regular travels up and down our road and the highway which was kinda cool to see.  They couldn't do much but direct traffic, but that in itself was commendable, speed limit being 65 and all.
Even the plows got into the rescuing.  One small plow was actually going to tow, by chain, a car up the hill, but then the big plow came through and told the guy to stay on his truck...and he still didn't make it.  Finally my son-in-law and another young man stepped out to push him up.  Found out later the car was one of the newer cadillacs, the one with all the traction improvements.  I think I would've taken it back.
My daughter was thinking about her daddy and dug his car out and scrapped his car off for him because he had to go to work that morning.  She is so awesome!!  All my kids are.
